Autumn Poem | Emil

For writing this week we had to write a poem based around Autumn. We weren't to mention Autumn in the actual poem (apart from the title). I hope you enjoy it :)

Autumn

Leaves
Flaming, sunset orange and lying on the ground like a
blanket, covering the Earth.

Wind
Sweeping, swift and shaking the trees as if
wanting something from them.

Sky
Bright, cornflower blue and covered in puffy, pale
white clouds.

Trees
Rustic, brown and groaning quietly under the wind.

Birds
Chirping, flying and joyfully playing amongst the
branches.

  1. I LOVE this poem Emil! What beautiful descriptive language, it makes me want to go and play outside in the leaves all rugged up in a warm wolley jersey.

  3. Morning Emil
Amazing descriptive language within this poem. Well done.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons because of the colourful leaves that can be seen. Especially good for piling up and burying your kids for a photo.
