Cafeteria: The cafeteria at our school is really bad. A cafeteria can be a sort of school restaurant. Americanism and Spanish.

Exterior: That is a big exterior. An exterior can be the outside frame of a house. Latin.

Stomach: You have a big stomach. Your stomach is a part of your body where all your food that you eat goes. Middle English, Latin and Greek.

Discussion: Let’s have a discussion with your parents. Discussion means to discuss a matter or talk about something. Anglo-French, Middle English and Late Latin.

Urge: The urge is real. Urge means you really want to do something. Latin.

Ascend: That will ascend fast. Ascend means to go up. Middle English, Anglo-French and Latin.

Cancel: You will cancel it! Cancel means to delete or not do it. Middle English and medieval Latin.

Acre: That is a big acre. An acre could be an amount of land. Middle English and Old English.

Machine: Is that a machine that makes chicken pies? A Machine could be something that does or makes something. French, Latin and Doric Greek.

Condense: That is very condense. Condense means it could be damp or compact. Middle French and Latin.

Introduction: I snatched it out faster than a child at a lolly scramble and sat back on my heels to examine it. It was the size of my hand and shaped like a curved banana with two indentations along the top edge. The object appeared to be made of light, bright metal that glowed brilliantly, even though it had just come out of the dirt. I turned it over in my hand and stared at it. I had absolutely no idea what it was.

Introduction: That was a very good introduction. An introduction is something you do to introduce something or something. Middle English and Latin.

Unconscious: That man is unconscious. Unconscious means knocked out cold. English.

Famine: You look Famine. Famine is very hungry and starvation. Middle English and Latin.

Injure: I will injure you! Injure means very hurt. English.

Ghost: There are ghosts in this school. A ghost is something you can see but isn't actually there. Middle English and Old English.

Thorough: That was thorough. Thorough means perfect. Middle English and Old English.

Soldier: That is a good soldier. A soldier could be someone that goes to war. Middle English and Old French.

Physical: That is very physical. Physical means moving. Late Middle English and Medieval Latin.

                     T2W3 Week Reflection

This Week I finished my diamante poem you can see below.

I also did my word work for this week. (I couldn't put it in because it wouldn't fit) I did a 40BC post called The Ugly Truth Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. I'm reading a book at the moment called Storm Breaker Alex Rider.                   

For numeracy this week we've been doing the maths check ups test, off maths buddy and that's all we've been doing this week for numeracy.
