Film Review

------------------------------------------------------

Shortage of microphones causes headaches in primary school film making.

Yesterday at the Regent Theatre the Toki Pounamu Film Festival took place. Schools all over the Grey District burst out of the bus doors to observe the movies that the other schools have created. The seats filled up with Grey Main students first and then students from other schools started spilling through the doors like a tsunami. The first Film to roll on the big screen was one created by Paroa school featuring three of their students. Personally based on audio, graphics and just all around quality I think it was the best film to play that afternoon. Movies continued to roll up on the big screen that made students crack up and listen intensely. Some of the films audio wasn't to the best standard and nor was some of the camera quality. A few of the films used advanced green screen technology to improve the film and one school even used a drone! The Toki Pounamu festival is an amazing event and I think everybody loved it!
